As for me, I think we generally hear little advice because people cannot be bothered. Either they don’t give a damn, or the potential downsides aren’t worth it.
You certainly need to be in the right frame of mind to take advice from others. Taking advice, which is behavioral change, is rare because behavioral change is rare.
